About Timothy J. Hanly

Admitted to the California State Bar in 1989, Timothy Hanly practiced in the area of civil litigation for nine years before he turned his focus to the field of trusts and estates, probate and elder law litigation and estate planning. For more than twenty years, he has advised trustees, beneficiaries, conservators and conservatees in litigation concerning trusts, estates and conservatorship disputes, elder abuse and end-of-life care.

In contrast to the larger law firm mentality, Mr. Hanly believes that the anxiety and stress associated with retaining an attorney in an already tumultuous probate matter should not be compounded by concerns over fees and strives to keep fees minimal while providing exceptional representation.

Tim Hanly resides in Orange County with his wife, dog and tortoise. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hikes regularly and SCUBA dives as often as he can. A Californian for most of his life, Tim is happiest when outdoors, spending time with his family in nature.
